Frequently Asked Questions
How much produce is in a share?
The VegBox is designed to feed 2 omnivores (folks who eat both plants and animals as their primary food source) the majority of their weekly vegetable needs. This size share usually includes 5-7 items each week.
The Large VegBox is designed to feed a family of 4 omnivores the majority of their weekly vegetable needs. This size share usually includes 8-10 items each week.
If you are a large family or are eating a primarily vegetarian diet, you might consider ordering more than one full share.
If you have a household of 1 omnivore, you may want to consider splitting your share with a friend or neighbor.
Can I choose what goes in my VegBox?
Yes, you can with our new customizable CSA share plan. You also have the ability to accept your share with the mix of tasty products we select each week- it's totally your choice.
How do I get my vegetables?
Prior to the harvest season you select your preferred pick up locations. Each week during the 21 week CSA season you'll pick up your share within the designated hours at your chosen location.

Is CSA food cheaper?
Not necessarily. We strive for freshness, integrity and quality. Sustainable, organic methods of farming are labor intensive and therefore expensive. Organic seeds and plants often cost significantly more than conventional.
How much does it cost?
The VegBox: $21 weekly
The Large VegBox: $33 weekly
Do I have to pay the fee all at one time?
No. You may pay in full with your on-line application or select a flexible payment option.
What if I won't be available to pick up my share?
You're welcome to send a friend or neighbor to pick up your share for you. However, shares not picked up within the designated pick up hours will be forfeited and will not be refunded or made up later.
Do I have to work on the farm or in the market?
Absolutely not. We do the work; you enjoy the fruits of our labor!
Can I give a CSA membership as a gift?
Giving the gift of a CSA membership to a friend or family member is a wonderful, healthy and appreciated gift. Upon request we can provide a gift certificate and a packet of information for the recipient. So, sign them up!
